“For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.” The Da Vinci Academy of Aerospace Technology is a place where students can get ready to learn relevant skills from experts in the industry such as Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Lockheed Martin, Patrick Air Force Base, NASA, BCC Space TEC, Florida Space Institute of UCF, Voyager Aviation International and SimCom Flight Simulation Center. The Da Vinci Academy of Aerospace Technology prepares Merritt Island High School students to compete in the global market of the 21st century in a “high wage, high growth” occupation, according to the US Bureau of Labor. Academy students can take the opportunity to graduate with a sequential program of study resulting in credential-endorsement by the industry for a career path. In the Da Vinci Academy of Aerospace Technology, students will apply classroom theory to real-word projects to bridge school and cutting-edge global technology.
